Maddaloni Help

Hello!

I have been searching for my family's background for years, and I am just about going crazy. I cant find records of them anywhere- is anyone able to help? All I know is the following:

Great grandfather- Michele D'Alessandro from Maddaloni. Per Ellis Island, he came to the US in 1914 with his wife at age 23. However, his grave states he was born in 1898, and my grandmother insists that he was married (in 1914) at age 16. His father's name was Francisco, and he listed his a relative in NJ as "Uncle Dorato" or "Donato DeGraio"

His wife- Nunziata ??. Ellis Island lists her maiden name as "Tempera", but my relatives claim it to be "Terrasera" or "Testino/a". She listed her birth place as Nola. She was born in July, 1901. We know that her mother died young, and when her dad re-married, she fled to the US with Michele and never spoke to them again.She lists her last residence in Italy as Maddaloni.

My grandmother also claims that Nunziata came from a wealthy family, and that someone in their family was a mayor. She also claims that Nunziata was married at age 13, and she lied at Ellis Island when claiming to be 17.

I can find no record of this marriage taking place in Maddaloni, so I'm not sure if it even took place. Then again, I can not find records of these people or any other possible relatives anywhere. I've scoured familyhistory.org, even looking at the million of pictures uploaded to the catalogs and nothing!

I would be extremely grateful for any help!

The wife of Michele D'alessandro is Nunziata Tendino, a foundling born on 18 July 1897 in Maddaloni (act #28 Parte II, 19 July 1897).



Side note: "con atto 9 11 913 N 112 in Maddaloni la Tendino sposò d'Alessandro Michele"
