Civil Records Search Help

I have been trying to find records of my great-grandfather Pietro D'Argenzio (born Nov 29, 1877) who was from Briano in Caserta, Italy. I've searched through the civil records for Caserta in FamilySearch, since the frazione itself was not listed, but found nothing. His first son, Joseph, was also born there on July 6, 1908. I couldn't find him either. I found his marriage record and wife's birth record which was in Castel Marrone. My uncle visited Briano many years ago and found his church records in St. Vincent Martyr, so I'm sure that is the correct area. I don't know if I am searching in the wrong comune or frazione, or if the civil records are missing.

It was not under Caserta, but under Puccianiello (part of the Commune of Caserta anyway):

Is there a good guide that gives the geography of the various comunes? It would be helpful to know which comunes are (or became) part of a larger comune, such as Puccianiello within Caserta. Thanks!
