Dear Sir,


My name is Ron Petrarca, and I am an American living in Warwick, Rhode Island. My ancestors came from the town of Fornelli.
I have recently completed an application for Italian citizenship at the Italian Consulate in Boston, and they have told me that sometime in January, they will be sending all of my records to you in Fornelli to be recorded with the town. They informed me that it is the town government which finalizes my request for citizenship, and notifies me of the completion of the process.
I realize that this process takes some time; however, I would be most appreciative if you could expedite the matter after the papers reach you. I have a strong desire to obtain an Italian passport, and would very much like to get one in the next few months.

mi chiamo Ron Petrarca, sono un americano e vivo a Warwick, Rhode Island.
I miei antenati provenivano dalla città di Fornelli.
Recentemente ho presentato la richiesta completa per la Cittadinanza Italiana presso il Consolato Italiano di Boston, e mi hanno detto che a Gennaio manderanno tutti gli atti a Lei per la registrazione.
Loro mi hanno detto che è il Comune stesso che termina la mia richiesta per la cittadinanza, e notifica a me il completamento del procedimento.
Mi rendo conto che il procedimento prende tempo; comunque io apprezzerei molto se Lei potesse accelerare i tempi dopo il ricevimento delle mie carte.
Io ho un grande desiderio di ottenere il passaporto italiano, e vorrei tanto ottenerlo nei prossimi mesi.
