Help Needed: Satriano (CZ) Civil Records

I am seeking information about civil records from the town on Satriano in Cantanzaro. My goal is to complete my family tree. I am in the US and hired an american ex-pat to go through church records in the town. I learned that the church records were destroyed in the 1783 earthquake and again by a fire in the 1800’s. There are no church records in the Diocese, they are only available in the local church starting in 1844 for baptisms with some gap years and 1903 for marriages.

I've also been able to connect with Ronald Dinardo, who transcribed records from Satriano and nearby towns. He posted his work on rootsweb at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin ... ?db=satcat. In corresponding with him by email, I learned that the files only went back to 1809. Further, they were abstracted from the Mormon Church's Family History films....In looking on familysearch.org, there seems to be 2 different types of civil records, Tribunale and State Archive. Ronald's were taken from the Tribunale. Family search does not show State Archive records available for Satriano (even for viewing within a local family history center).

I attempted to contact the Archivio di Stato di Catanzaro via their website http://www.ascatanzaro.beniculturali.it/ which lists an email address for questions (ascz@archivi.beniculturali.it). I wrote in Italian via microsoft translate to ask what was available for Satriano, but got no answer.

Does anyone know what is available in the Cantanzaro Archives for Satriano and how one would access those records? If they do exist, what years might be available for Satriano? And would I need to hire someone to go in person?
