Marriage of Vito Pumo & Filippa ?? 1693

Post by sacesta »

I could use some help deciphering this record. It appears to be the record of marriage for my ancestors Vito Pumo and his wife Filippa. Although Filippa's maiden name is transcribed in two places, I'm unable to decipher it.

The event appears to have taken place on the 05 of July, 1693. Banns were posted on the 14th? and the 21st of May? and on the 14th of Jun 1693. There were no legal impediments.

Vito's parents appear to be Antonio (Pumo) and Catarina (it seems her maiden name is not given). Both were living at the time of the marriage and are from this town and parish.

Filippa's parents appear to be Pietro (surname??) and Sebastiana (I don't think her maiden name is given either). I think both of the bride's parents were alive at the time of the wedding, but I am unsure where they are from.

Witnesses appear to be Vincenzo (surname??), son of Vito and Pietro, and Francesco (Ricola?, Nicola?) son of dec Geronimo? and Andrea?

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Grazie mille!

Record begins at bottom left page and continues to top right.
