Hi community, I'm currently in the mission of finding my great-grandfather marriage certificate
His name was Giovanni Filippi, born on December 10 1896 in Piozzo, Cuneo, Italy
Married to Ana or Anita Costamagna
I know he married in Italy, my grandmother was born in Argentina in October 1924.
I've been looking in familysearch to no success, I've yet to send a letter to the comune to see if they have the document or can look it up.
Anyone had a similar experience? or know a good place to look for?
Looks like Piozzo is and was a small town, and haven't found any digitized records of it online.
