Applying through Embassy

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Applying through Embassy

Post by Angel25 »

I'm not sure if my first post got approved or rejected. I posted it in the wrong section of the forum by mistake and it was lengthy and I could have probably cut the post down in size. I was wondering if anyone could answer how likely it is I will be approved once I am ready to apply at the Italian consulate that serves my area of the United States.

There are variations in the day and year of the birth dates of my great-great grandparents between their Italian documents and their US documents. Whoever recorded my great-grandfather's birth certificate, made a name+birthday discrepancy when recording it.

I could give some additional details if needed but I'm not sure if I'm approved to post. My first post had to be approved by a Moderator or someone.
