Ciao Dolores. Yes, it is Russolillo. Here's the marriage record if you don't have it. In this record Angiolina's surname looks like it is spelled Genua – the ongoing saga!

Marriage No 7: Giovanni Russolillo and Angiolina Genna/Genua?
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2043434

If you don't already have it, let me know if you would like the info extracted and I'll do so later.

Cheers, Angela :)

Thank you again, Angela. I did not have their marriage record and that helps! If you would translate it, that would be wonderful.:)

Just some extra info about the fathers, which appear on the Pubblication, No 8:

Marciano Russolillo, 57, contadino
Gennaro Genua, 54, contadino
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2043434

I'd say the surname in these records is Genua.

Yes, I think that it will become clearer when your pre-1866 records are put on line. Hopefully, you will be able to follow through backwards to the earlier records. Interesting that Genua appears in the white pages today but Genna doesn't (that's not to say that Genna doesn't exist in Frigento as not everyone has their names listed in the white pages.) I'm really looking forward to your earlier records coming on line Dolores. I hope that it is very soon for you. :)

So do I, Angela. Do you think it will be on Family Search (LDS)?

How will we know that they are online?

Not sure, when they will be on Family Search, but some time soon. They have a deadline now. Either there or on the Antenati site.

Just keep checking both this site here (and I will too):

http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/?q=gallery As you can see there is nothing there as yet for the province of Avellino.

And here at Family search:

https://familysearch.org/search/collect ... Id=1927178 (If you click on “Last updated” you'll see that the last two Italian provinces to be added at Family Search are “Asti” and “Bergamo” on 13 July 2017. Avellino was last updated on 24 March 2014.
