Can anyone please help with this abbreviation on the document I attached? It looks like 'tto' or 'ffo' and it's used before the parents names but not for all of them. The document itself is a table of contents for deaths in 1859 in the commune of Marzano Appio in Caserta.

Re: Abbreviation translation please
It is "ff" raised "o" and I would suggest it is the abbreviation for the word "furono" which translates to "they were" which is basically saying that both parents were deceased. "Fu" (was) is singular meaning that one parent was deceased.
