Is Annamaria Falato, who died on the 19th of May 1794, the mother of Nicola Benevento ? It is the death record on the left.

Thanks for your help

John

Yes, Annamaria Falato was Nicola Benevento's mother but I don't think that the date of death is given. While I don't exactly understand the word "munita" I believe that she was buried on 19 May 1794, and I understand that she received the burial rites (sacraments) on that day - funeral? Hopefully someone else will be able to clarify the wording.

the death date is 19 May 1794
"munita di sagramenti"="after receiving the Sacraments", literally in possession of the sacraments

Guardia Sanframondi (no final "a")

Thank you, Livio. So when it says "munita di sagramenti" is it referring to the sacraments of Baptism, Confession, Communion, Confirmation, Extreme Unction? Where does it actually say that he died on 19 May 1794, or is it just taken as read. (Sorry, I'm not completely understanding the wording.)

Thank you so much, Livio. I think I understand now. So in English it might translate to something like "gave up her spirit to God" which actually sounds much nicer - it somehow takes the sting out of death.

rather than "gave up" it is "gave back". The verb is "rendere" = return
