Cursive birth doc/D'Adamo & Lepore

Post by jamesamdadamo »

I'm researching my 2nd great grandparents of Ripacandida. I have their birth records but cannot read them, unfortunately. One especially due to the cursive writing.

If anyone could help me determine who their parents were and their parents ages or dates of birth that would be enormously helpful.

Maddalena Lepore: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=1483052

Thanks!!

Hi James, welcome to the forum.

Donato D'Adamo:
Ripacandida: 2 February 1874

Appearing before the official was Michele D'Adamo, son of deceased Donato, Falegname (joiner/carpenter), 44 yo, living here, who presented a baby boy, who was born on 1 February at 1 pm at the house where he lived in Strada Valle, in this town, from his wife Lucia Rubino, daughter of Michele, a filatrice (seamstress/cotton worker spinner), 30 yo, living with him. The baby was given the name Donato.
