Hello!
I am pursuing citizenship through two different family lines simultaneously,
Francesco "Frank" Pagano & Gelsomina "Jessie" Ferrara - San Pietro / Scafati, Italy
Giacomo "James" Tria & Anna Schettini - Turi, Italy
I plan to write to these comunes to request documents. Can those more experienced than I am give me any advice on this process to best ensure I receive a reply? I've read that many never hear back. Are there alternate options?
Anything helps. Thanks!

Re: Requesting Papers from Italy - Any Advice?
I finally hired a researcher to go retrieve my documents. It was a little pricey, but I had everything I needed in hand in about a week. I go back and find his name if you decide to go that route. I am pursuing a 1948 case, and my attorneys also offer document retrieval services.
