Under "è morto nel" it looks like the sindaco started to write "la casa di sua abitazione" as was his usual wording, but crossed it out and wrote something about sulfur hole or mine(?).

Can someone tell me what it says between "è morto nel" and "nato in Alessandria"?
(The name is "Antonino Pecoraro.")

He died in the sulfur mine hole in the Ciniè district, affected by asphyxiation due to the acrid air.
