Birth No 120: Giacomo Sandoli

Side Note: 26 December 1903, marries Maria Rosaria Cipriano daughter of Gaetano, Frigento

Sturno: 10 November 1875, 9.15 am

Appearing was Angela Famiglietti, 56 yo, midwife, living in Surno,. She reported that at 11.30 am, on 6 of the current month, in the house in Via delle Fate, No 4, from Arcangela Stanco, Contadina, wife of Alfonso Sandoli, contadino, both living in this town of Sturno, was born a baby boy, who she presented and gave the name Giacomo.

Witnesses:
Aniello Berlangieri, 40 yo, and Pasquale Di Rienzo, 40 yo, both contadini, living in this town.

(The midwife reported the birth in place of the father because he was absent at the time.)

Dolores, in this record I am reading Sandoli not Santoli so there is obviously an error somewhere?

Thank you Angela. I see a few Santoli(s) and one Sandoli. Further research needed and I will keep both names for now:)

I'd be more inclined to go with the name here in the Birth Record, rather than the name in the Marriage Record. I had a quick look through some indices in Sturno and didn't come across the spelling Santoli, and only came across one Sandoli. It didn't seem to be that regular a name there? (Santoli and Sandoli sound very similar so I can see how an error could be made.) Anyways, like you say, further research needed.
