I am searching for any information on my great-great grandfather Vincenzo Iannuzzi. According to his obituary and death certificate he was born 9/18/1852 in San Donato di Ninea. He died 3/12/1922 in Ogdensburg, NY. I have no information on any siblings or parents. His surname was later Americanized to "Yannut." Vincenzo married Marianna Cordasco also from San Donato. According to family legend, she was from a wealthy family and he was the family's gardener. They married and left Italy, first coming to Canada and then settled in Massena, NY. Marianna was b. 1/1/1860 and d. 4/20/1907. She was the daughter of Carlo Cordasco and Tomassina Gagliardi. Her brother, Antonio Cordasco was a prominent labor boss in Montreal who recruited many Italians for railroad work. I would like to connect with anyone researching the Iannuzzi or Cordasco families.
