I appreciate the translation, but no it is not. I am trying to find the Carminantonio I have been researching who was born in 1834. I just wanted to add his death record to my tree in Ancestry. I will keep looking for him :)

Hi Crystal

I didn't know which Carminantonio di Spirito (that was born in 1834?) you meant? It's always more helpful to give the parents/spouses name, as ages on death records can be years out. I knew that Generoso di Spirito, son of Carminantonio was born in 1834, so worked on finding that Carminantonio's death record. (Is that who you were meaning?) He was still alive in 1859 when Generoso and Angelantonia married, and when his infant daughter died that year. He had died by November 1873, according to Generoso's Death Record. When I got home later in the day, I searched the years from 1859 to 1873 but not there. I suspect he must have died during the missing years 1862-1865 inclusive.

Hi Angela,

Yes that is the Carminantonio I was looking for. I got a bit mixed up with the birth year apparently. Maybe time to take a few day break, everything is starting to blur together. LOL I appreciate you looking through those years for me. šŸ˜„

All good, Crystal. Yes sometimes taking a break and then coming back to it later with fresh eyes is needed. What I use to do when I first started out, and sometimes still do it, is have a pedegree chart template handy and just fill it in as I go. That way I can clearly see where my gaps are and any discrepancies.

Angela :)
