how to send the ancestry dna kit to europe.

I have done the ancestry and uploaded to gedmatch. I am half Italian and half Lithuanian. I ordered a kit and want to send it to my cousin in Lithuania. Gee I hope this is possible. Any suggestions on how to send it, will there be import duty to pay? Should I have them mail it back to me or to ancestry? Can they send it to the ancestry office I Europe?

I live in Europe and was looking into all of this a little while ago. You cannot send the ancestry kit to Europe.

What you CAN do however is order another company's kit and then upload everyone's results to another site. I have not yet looked into all of the sites that you can upload your results to, so I can't suggest one. From what I understand, these sites are not used as often as they could be. I'm not sure why, maybe people are unaware of them. I am going to upload my results to as many as possible to get the greatest amount of information.

There are a few companies that will send their tests to Europe. I chose 23 and me. I have not done my test yet, so that's about all I can tell you about it.
