On January 8, 1850 at 8 p.m. Francesco Paolo Moscarella died at his parents’ home. He was age 5 months, a farm hand/laborer, born in Padula, son of Francesco Puppolo Moscarella, farm hand/laborer domiciled in Padula, and of Vincenza Puppolo.

(I’m just translating it here. Obviously the baby wasn’t a farm-hand. It lists the father’s middle name as the same as the mother’s surname. Possible, but strange.)
Researching Gibellina, Sicily surnames Bivona, Bonafede, Zummo, Ponzio, Bevinetto, Beninati, Fontana, Cipolla, Bruno, Manfrè, Lanfranca, and Navarra

Bbivona, Puppolo being listed as father's middle name was really throwing me off. Thank you for mentioning that issue.

My 2 cents:
The father is Francesco Moscarella, no middle name. The word Puppolo is underlined and this may signify that the clerk wrote Puppolo by mistake, underlining it means that it is erased.

BTW. I recommend that you always provide the link to the image, in this case: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=1920307
