While it doesn't seem common, "in Antista" is a surname in the area. (Richiusa is also a surname from Geraci.) Could it be that "in Antista" is her surname? Most of the time the surname appears as just Antista, but I find a few places where someone is "in Antista." Book editor Giuseppe in Antista. Also I find Maria Carmela in Antista di Maio.

E' un modo di dire abbastanza comune: vuol dire che il cognome di nascita di Epifania era Richiusa, ma che, quando si è sposata, ha preso il cognome Antista, che era quello del marito.
