Is the husband alive or dead

Please review record # 223 and tell me if the husband of the deceased Maria Cammarata, Diego LoGiudice, is dead or alive. My next step is to find his death record so that I can find out who his parents were.

In the death act she is referred to as the wife (sposa) of Diego Lo Giudice, which indicates that he is alive. If he were dead she would be listed as the widow (la vedova) of Diego.
Researching Gibellina, Sicily surnames Bivona, Bonafede, Zummo, Ponzio, Bevinetto, Beninati, Fontana, Cipolla, Bruno, Manfrè, Lanfranca, and Navarra

Thank you. Now I know where to start to look for his death record and find his parents from it.
