Providenza Mugavero

Post by Athena »

Can someone please translate this? I may have posted before but can't find it in my threads.
My computer crashed last week and I lost 2 and a half yrs of Italian research and now I have to start all over and piece everyone together again.
Help on this and my following post would be greatly appreciated
As I'm so lost now

February 9, 1891, in the residence on Via San Giovanni at 7PM.

Illuminato? Bartolotta, by means of a doctor’s certificate dated yesterday, justifies that because of paralysis of the legs he is unable to go to the town hall to celebrate the marriage. I, Giuseppe Valenti, assessor, went to his home where I found the aforementioned Illuminato Bartoletto age 26, shoemaker, born and domiciled here, son of Sebastiano (Bartoletto), resident here, and of Serafina Verna, resident here, and Providenza Mugavero, age 15, homemaker, born here and resident here, daughter of Antonino (Mugavero) resident here, and of Grazia Glorioso, resident here, who have requested to be united in marriage.

Documents presented, etc. they were married by me.
Researching Gibellina, Sicily surnames Bivona, Bonafede, Zummo, Ponzio, Bevinetto, Beninati, Fontana, Cipolla, Bruno, Manfrè, Lanfranca, and Navarra
