Hello everybody
I am looking for my ancestor of the Gentinetta family.
I'm looking for Peter (Pietro) Gentinetta (* 1740) from Domodossola / Bognanco.
His wife was a pianzola from Domodossola / San Lorenzo.
Her children were Josef (Giuseppe) Gentinetta, Peter Josef (Pietro Giuseppe) Gentinetta (-Willa) (1784-1866), Johann (Giovanni) Gentinetta and Lorenzo Gentinetta (-Mosoné).
I've already tried to get information about the archives, but unfortunately there was no feedback after repeated requests.
That's why I hope to get information in this way.
I thank you in advance.

It is not clear which archives you contacted but you need parish records for this period. Italians typically go back 3 generations in memory and laterally but unless they have done their own research they don't usually know more than that.
You will probably need to contact a professional researcher for this.

Thank you for the answer.
I already had contact with the Diocese of Novara. He referred me to the community Bognango but there was no answer. Furthermore, I also got the mail address "baronevince@gmail.com", on which I should send a request. Unfortunately there is no answer.
I also wrote to Domodossola, but they could not help either.
Somehow, everyone gives a different contact person, who then gives me no answer ...
Too bad it is so hard to get information in Italy.

To get good information in Italy you need someone 'on the ground' and in or near the town.

Good morning
I'd travel there, but if the Italians can t even tell me where the information stored, I can't even travel. If the offices were unanimous, this would be a real great step forward.
If someone could tell me where I'm going, I D make a trip to Italy, because this would be very easy for me to be able to achieve it for me.
I just hope to find someone who can tell me exactly where to look for, because I can't travel half Italy and search all archives:)
