problem with verbs,etc

IBOUGHT A COLLEGE TEXTBOOK ON E-BAY.I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS THROUGH OUT WITH SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION AND VERBS............................my question is does"tutto ho messo nel luogo"-I have put everthing in place sound correct? somehow it does not appear right to me

If "in place" means tidy, in order... etc., the correct translation is

Ho messo tutto a posto

or

Ho messo tutto in ordine

or

Ho riordinato tutto
