Help with the translation of Negri baptism, page 13

Post by jrbak »

Hello,
I am uncertain if this is the correct baptismal record (1786) of my Giuseppe Negri, supposedly died at 39 yrs. in 1820. Married in 1805. His father was Domenico; mother Anna Ambrosio. His wife died in 1787. If it appears as correct record could someone translate for me. It would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi again,
I believe this is a Latin record also.

This is for a Giovanni Battista (Negri), son of Domenico, son of deceased Giuseppe, and Anna Maria, daughter of Domenico Ambrosio.
So, he must be a sibling of your Giuseppe.
But something doesn't seem to match what I found in Anna's death record (other post)

Dear PippoM,
As I said in the other message, I can't thank you enough for help with the translations. I think though, rather than guessing now I will leave it to all of you professional Latin researchers in helping me locate the next records. I think I need more information before I insert him in to my tree. I do appreciate your help though.
All my best,
Jefferie (jrbak)
