Need assistance with translation of Latin birth/baptismal record of Anna Elizabeth Negri

Post by jrbak »

Good Afternoon,
May I have some assistance with the corrections/additions of the birth record for Anna Elizabeth Negri.

(Eadem 9bris) 1788 Is there a date?
Anna Elizabeth Negri legitimate and natural daughter of Domenico from deceased (quondam) Joseph, and Anna from Domenico Ambrosio, spouses Negri, (eadem die nata) born the same day? (can't read) Reverend Stephen? (baptizata patrini fuere) something about sponsors? (cannot read the rest.)

Thanks so very much!

eadem die (on the same day = February 19, 1788)
Anna Elizabeth Negri legitimate and natural daughter of Domenico from deceased (quondam) Joseph, and Anna from Domenico Ambrosio, spouses Negri, eadem die nata (= born on the same day) a R D Stephano Girod vicario baptizata. Patrini fuere Joannes ex Josepho ..... et Anna .... viduva (= widow) quondam Petri Pauli Negri

Dear Mmogno,
I do want you to know how much I appreciate you sharing your expertise in Latin with me. I do learn from you. I have a hard time reading the Latin at times like the die in eadem die and should know this by now. Thanks for all your patience with me. Have a great rest of your day.
