Marriage Record Ignazio Sorci/Vincenza Manzella

Marriage date- June 29, 1869

1) I would like to reconfirm the grooms (Ignazio Sorci) age and birth place. I am having problems finding a birth record. I've checked both Solanto and Bagheria.

2) I would also like to know if the groom's parents Giuseppe Sorci and Giuseppa Gargotta ages are given.

3) Anything else that you think would be interesting or relevant

Thank you so much mmogno! Since you have found Ignazio's birth record it leads me to a couple important
questions.

1) Can you (or anyone) give me the ages of Ignazio's parents that is on his birth record?

2) Ignazio's marriage record spells his last name Sorci, but his birth record is spelled Sorce. Do you think Ignazio changed it to Sorci prior to him getting married, or maybe some other reason possibly?

3) The final followup question is regarding Ignazio's mother, Giuseppa Gargotta. I thought I got lucky and was finally able to read her name easily from the marriage record. But if you look at the birth record of Ignazio, his mothers name looks like it might be spelled differently.

How would you translate the mothers last name from the birth record?

Thank you for all your help mmogno. It's funny because I zoomed in really close in the marriage bans document that you linked and if you find the name for Ignazio it is spelled Sorci. But the other attachment it appears to be Sorce. But either way, I do know it is the same person.

From the ages you gave me it would put:

Giuseppe Sorci (Sorce) being born in 1807
Giuseppe Gargotta being born in 1813

I would love to find a marriage record of some kind that maybe would name their parents. hard to say if the marriage would have occurred in Solanto or Bagheria. I believe they were born too early to be in any civil records.
