My grandfather's sister, Concetta, lived in Campli Italy and died in 1930. When I visited, I was able to get the local registration records for the family and I have some questions about her.
At the bottom of the image, someone has written the cause of death that I have translated, "chronic bronchitis, metrorrhagia and cardiac paralysis". But at the very bottom, they write, "Fidanza". When I look that up, it seems to mean "engaged". But, I don't understand the context. Was Concetta engaged, as to be married? If so, why would that be written at the time of her death? My grandfather in his US WWI registration indicates he had to support a blind sister in Italy. So 13 years earlier, she would have been blind and then got engaged? I suppose it happens, but it isn't obvious. Or could it mean the doctor was "engaged"...as in taking care of her? Or is it some sort of medical term?
Any help or thoughts are appreciated!!

Hello!
I think it's the signature of the clerk who wrote down the certificate.
