1821 birth of Maria Giuseppa

Post by carolc »

Hi

Can I get this translated? I can't make out all of the words and I see that the father was serving in the military so I'd like to get the details. Thank you.

Birth No 123: Maria Giuseppa Migliarese

Registered 18 March 1819, Catanzaro

Appearing was Giacinto Migliarese, 27 yo, Soldato del Regimento Bruzi? (Soldier of the Bruzi? Regiment), living in the Quartiere Militare di S. Francesco di Assisi (Miliary District of S. Francis of Assisi), who reported that the day 16 March 1819 at 5.30 pm was born a baby girl who he presented, and recognised as his natural daughter, born from Rosa Masciari, 20 yo, living in the Parish of S. Giorgio. The baby was born in the mother's own home and given the name Maria Giuseppa Migliarese.

(So this couple were unmarried at the time of Maria Giuseppa's birth.)

Aha, I was wondering about their marital status because I already found their marriage record and it was after this birth. Thank you for this information.
