Vincenco's Family

Post by darkerhorse »

This is a 1651 Riveli record from Sicily.

Can you read the names of Vincenzo's wife and son, and his son's age?

My guess:
Franc(esche)lla
Roccu (Rocco) di anni setti (7 years old)

But better have other opinions...

Thanks.

What does "quondam Joani" mean? Of his deceased father (John), his deceased mother (Joan/Ann), his deceased wife (Joan/Ann)?

I hadn't realized that "Joani" is the genitive case in Latin (of Giovanni).
