The first one is the registration of a catholic marriage celebrated on November 24th 1873 between Raffaele GONI, son of the late Dario and Anna MONDELLI, and Clorinda ALINOVI, daughter of Luigi and Barbara CAMPIONI, in a church whose name and location I can't decript.

The second one is the record of the civilian marriage registered on Dec. 19th 1876 between the same bride and groom, this time in the city hall of Parma. The groom was 25 years old and born in Vigheffio while the bride was 20 years old and born in Fognano. Both Vigheffio and Fognano are located within the territory of the city of Parma.

In the record of the civilian marriage the groom also acknowlegdes to be the father of Virginia Albertina GONI, whose birth was previously registered as illegitimate on August 25th of the same year, and by effect of the parents' marriage she is therefore legitimised.

The reason for the double ceremony is due to the so-called "Roman question" which made religious documents such as baptisms, weddings and Death records not valid under civil law, therefore couples had to register their marriage in the Church and at the city hall, in order for their children to be legitimate.
