Help with Dodero death cert translation

Post by JohnBhoy »

Looking for help with translation for entry number 23 - Guido Dodero

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1019419

From my own attempt ...

I think death was registered on 2nd of March 1888 but not sure if that is the date of death

In Sant'Antonino di Susa in front of mayor

Parents I get are Felice Dodero and Domenica Maritano both farmers and both live in the Comune

Guido was an infant /baby if I am correct with what I think I see as Lattante

Death was in Borgata ?? Maisonetta

That is my lot unfortunately,

Thanks in advance for your help,

John

March 10, 1890 at town hall in Sant’Antonino di Susa appeared Felice Dodero, age 31, farmer, domiciled in this comune, and Beniamino Ferrero, age 17, clerk, domiciled in this comune, who declared that at 1:10 PM on March 10 in the residence in the hamlet of Marionetta, Giudo Dodero died, age 13 months, an unweaned child, resident in this comune, son of the aforesaid Felice and of Domenica Maritano, homemaker, domiciled in this comune.

John, I think that you did really well.

I agree with you that the spelling in the record is Guido Dodero.

I also agree with you that the hamlet is Maisonetta.

due = two and dieci = ten These two numbers are often mistaken for each other when you are first reading records. Keep going with it, you are doing well.

I agree with Angela. I'm sorry. I should slow down a bit.
