Birth Certificate for Francesco Muoio + Giacomina Santoro

Post by magbag1 »

Francesco Muoio 10 March 1863 • Mendicino, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy and he died 01 Feb 1950 • Preston, New London County, Connecticut, USA. The only discrepancy is the year of Francesco's birth on his gravestone and it has 1855. He Americanized his name to Frank Moyer Sr.

Giacomina Santoro 06 JAN 1878 • Petina, Salerno, Campania, Italy and she died 10 APRIL 1942 • New London, New London County, Connecticut, USA. She Americanized her name to Minnie Santoro, then married to Minnie Moyer.

From what I believe to be correct information, Frank Moyer's father was Domenico Muoio born 1823 • Falerna, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy and died 1913 • Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA. And Frank's mother was Rosaria Russo 1834 • Falerna, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy and died and unknown date in Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA.

From what I believe to be correct information, Minnie Moyer's father was Joseph Santoro SEPT 1843 • Cerisano, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy and died and unknown date in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA. Her mother was Filomena C Pagano JAN 1845 • Foggia, Foggia, Puglia, Italy and died Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

I need help from the records in Italy to acquire this information. I have done everything I can to aquire this information from here in the US so I am requesting help from someone in Italy who would be willing to help me if they had the time.

One other piece of information I would like is did Francesco Muoio have any siblings born in Italy, what were their names and date of birth and if any died in Italy I would like that too.

Thank you,
Margaret

Margaret,

You cannot find Francesco's information from your home computer because records for Mendicino are restricted. You must visit a Family History Center or Affiliate Library which has access to these restricted records.

I likewise do not have access to these records from home.

Biff,

How were the links you gave me going to help to give me the information I need for Francesco Muoio? I was hoping to get his and two other men because I need to know if they are brothers or cousins because that makes a big difference in how I am related to the rest of the family I found.

Thank you for the help you have already given me.

The record for Giacomina was part of the unrestricted Familysearch records which can be viewed at home.

The other links were meant to show you what restricted records are available for viewing at a FHC or Afflilate Library should you be able to visit one of these to do research.
