July 16, 1894 at town hall in Ari appeared Domenico Caldarone, age 25, farmer, domiciled in Ari, who declared that at 11:20 p.m. on July 15, in the home in Contrada San Pietro, Donata Brenda, age 18, his wife, a farmer who lives with him, gave birth to a female child who was presented to me and to whom was given the name of Maria Giovina.

Witnesses were Nicola di Rito, age 37, farmer, and Ignazio Balzano, age 58, farmer, both residents of Ari.
