Lots of info in this one!

#16

April 25, 1839 at 2 p.m. at the town hall in Orsogna appeared

Vincenzo-Giovannantonio di Benedetto, a minor, age 20 years 9 months, farmer, born in Sant’Apollinare comune now joined with San Vito, domiciled in Orsogna, on Strada della Villa Grande, son of living spouses Filippo di Benedetto, age 42, and Anna Domenica Pace, age 43, both farmers who are residents of this comune at the above listed location, and

Brigida di Rico, a minor, age 17, farmer, born and domiciled in Orsogna, Strada della Villa da Piedi, daughter of deceased Tommasantonio di Rico, a farmer who lived and died in Orsogna at age 50 on July 21, 1830, and the living Francesca Paola Mincone, age 59, farmer, domiciled in this comune. Brigida’s paternal grandfather was Francesco di Rico, farmer, domiciled in Orsogna, where he died at the age of 88 on July 15, 1817 as reflected in the extract of the death act recorded in this office

who requested to be united in marriage. Consent of the parents of the groom and the mother of the bride were given. The publication of intent in Orsogna was on April 7, 1839. Documents included birth act of the groom, birth act of the bride, the death act of the father of the bride, the death act of the paternal grandfather of the bride.

No objections having been made, the spouses took their vows before witnesses Don Nicolò Alenandris, age 39, landowner, domiciled in this comune, and Camillo Montefusco, age 45, shoemaker, domiciled in this comune, Giuseppe di Rico, age 34, comune forest ranger, domiciled in this comune, Luigi di Rico, age 34, comune custodian?. The act read to the participants, only the witnesses signed because the spouses, the parents of the groom, and the mother of the bride do not know how to write.

The notation to the right of the first page just says that the Parish of the Church of San Nicolò di Bari returned a copy of the documents to the comune offices and certified that the marriage took place on April 25.

Birth act and death acts are the equivalents of birth and death certificates in the US. It's the records you are usually requesting be translated. Atti di morti and atti di nascita.
