I am eternally grateful to you, Mr. Moccaldi, and to you, Angela, for all the work you put into these translations and the dedication you show. Please know that you are appreciated very much!
Pat
Hi Angela!
Can you please translate the baptism record for Giovanbattista De Grandis and the death record for Fioravante De Grandis? You just gave the the date of December 8, 1783 for the baptism date and September 2, 1793 for the death date.
All of the future translations I will be sending will just require the date of death or birth and the location and any specific information such as, stillborn.
One more: Can you translate the death registry for Anna Saraceni? You gave me the date of February 7, 1788 , how old she was, and her husband and his father's name. Is there anything else or is that the gist of it?

Re Giovambattista's baptism record.
Pat, both Pippo, and I looked at this record for you. The only vital information from Giovambattista's baptism record that I can see is that his parents were Fioravante de Grandis and Anna Sarraceni, which is what you already know from other records. There were no ages given.
Re Fioravante De Grandis' death record, Pippo has added that Fioravante was 57 when he died, and confirmed that his parents' names were not mentioned. If there was any vital info mentioned that I had missed, Pippo, would've included same.

Pippo translated this for you, and he has translated all the vital info for you. Often these old Parish Records contain very little information so it's fantastic that at least the father's name and her husband's name is included. The only thing I have noticed different is the spelling of the name Saraceni, which is spelt with two letters "r" in the records. Saraceni seems to be the correct spelling.

Is there any more detail to the death record of Domenico De Grandis other than the date of July 18, 1742 and that he was 60 years old?
Pat
Not that I can see. If there was any vital information, Pippo would've translated it for you. As I mentioned, often these old Parish records don't have a lot of detail. Often they just have the name of the deceased and nothing else. The Priests weren't always into writing so much detail, or maybe they just weren't given the info. There was no protocol set for what they should include in the baptism, marriage and death registers in these earlier records.

Or maybe more details were in the original church record, but were not reported in the certificate. But, of course, we can't know
