Oppido Mamertina: 28 October 1881

Rosa Salerno, 61 yo, midwife, living in Oppido, reported that at 9 am on 27 October 1881, in the house in Via Tuba, No 31, from Rosa Russo, travagliatrice (worker/labourer), wife of Saverio Donia, a bracciale (day labourer), both living in Oppido, was born a baby boy, who she presented to the official and named Giuseppe.
(The father was unable to present the baby and report the birth because he was a long way from the town at the time.)
