November 15, 1882 at Comune offices in Chieti the birth registry official transcribed a birth record he received, as follows:
Chieti, November 15, 1882, we received a male child, a newborn, wrapped up, with a declaration that the child was born of illegitimate parents. This office being in receipt of the foundling recorded as number 699 in the general register, under provincial rules … he was given the name of Elia Camerario.
