Greetings!
This is not an Italian language question but a reading of a place of origin on a passenger list. I can see Rocca d'. What comes after that I can not read. It seems the same word is written under the passenger's father's name of Giovanni.
The passenger is Antonetta Marandola #18. Thank you, DeMari

Hi DeMari
We don't all have access to ancestry.com. Are you able to download a copy of the image here?

I think it's Rocca d'Evandro. There are many Marandola families from Rocca d'Evandro in the Province of Caserta.

Thank you for posting the images, Robert. Yes I would agree with Rocca D Evandro. (I'm reading Rocca d'vandro but it must be Rocca D Evandro, as you say.)

Happy to help!
Angela, I actually read Rocca d' Wanda, but I knew that wasn't very Italian
I had to do a little more research to find the correct town.
Passenger #11 Girardo Franco is also from Rocca d'Evandro, and like Antonietta Marandola is going to Providence, RI.
