Record for Andrea Colozzi
Re: Record for Andrea Colozzi
This is a declaration in front of a Notary, given on Apr 11th, 1828, about a death that was not recorded in civil, nor church registers.
The declarants are Giuliano Vallone, son of deceased Pasquale, living in Roccaguglielma, and Andrea Del Prete, son of deceased Giovan Battista, living in Monticelli.
They said that "during the past Government" (the year is not specified, but it should be between 1805 and 1815), they were taken as prisoners to Alessandria della Paglia (now simply Alessandria, Piedmont). Andrea Colozzi, son of deceased Tommaso, was taken with them, too. They knew him well, and were friends. After their arrival in Alessandria, Andrea fell ill because of a malicious fever, and died a few days later.
