Marriage Record Abbreviations

Post by sbiondo257 »

This was my first try at translating a marriage record, but I think I did a decent job. There were many abbreviations throughout the record which I will list here along with the record itself. Can anyone tell me the meanings of the one's I don't know? And especially let me know if I got some wrong? Thank you!

(I'll use the ^ symbol when indicating raised letters)

Abbreviation List:

9bris = November
8bris = October
7^E
Denunc = Denunciationibus
Ste. = ?
Indnis = ?
p^mo = ?
D. = Don
leg. = legitinum
jug. = jugalibus
vid. = vidua
relic. = relicta
qdm = ?
M^vi = ?
nat. = natum
cle = clerico

Thank you Pippo! This helps a lot!

Could Ste. possibly mean St. or Saint?

Between "continuis" and "Die 27". It's near the top portion of the document. I'm not sure if it says Ste or not though.

No, I don't think it's "Ste", but I can't read it.
If you have a link to the register this record is from, maybe the word is more readable in some other record.
