Can anyone figure out this name?

I'm trying to figure out the name of the grooms mother however I can't make out what the surname is. I believe her first name is Maria.

The groom's mother is the deceased Maria Manciagli

Looking at both of them again, I think you were close! I'm thinking it's Mangiagli. Thanks for your help!

I totally agree with mmogno. The name in the record is Manciagli: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... ewsIndex=0

While the index may look like Mangiagli, generally, what is written in the actual civil record, over-rides what is written in the index.

(Both surnames, however, do still exist in the town today. Maybe you need to research further to be certain.)
