Re: Translation of Death Record Angela Marotta Mancini
Angela Marotta, died on 8 November 1841, 10 am in the house she lived in. She was born and lived in the town, was the wife of Giuseppe Mancino, and was aged 66, a contadina, the daughter of Antonio Marotta (deceased) and Mariantonia Audi ?(deceased).
(We prefer you to include a link to the online record. I don't have time to look for this today, so this is the best that I can do with what you have provided. Hopefully I have Mariantonia's surname correct
)

Here is the link to the image. I agree with everything in Angela's translation. The surname Audi is still found in the town. The link acts funny, and the image doesn't appear at first. However, in between the upper and lower links for primo and precedente you will see another link for immagine 8. If you click that, you should get a high-res image that you can view and download.

Happy to help, Frank. I suspected that maybe you didn't have the link. I was multitasking earlier so didn't have time to look for the online record. I'm pleased that bbivona has since found it.

Thanks for the backup and confirmation, bbivona. The online record is so much clearer and easier to work with. I notice that the name appears on the next record as well.
(Re the images on the antenati site. They've been playing up for days now. I hope it's not permanent. When I first started using the antenati a few years ago, to enable one to zoom in, they included a tiny "magnifier" which you basically moved along either word by word or phrase by phrase which was somewhat awkward and time consuming.)
