Help about mother information on birth registration

Post by ramoser »

Hello. I would deeply appreciate who could give me a help on the translation of the following birth registry of LEOPOLDO LUCCHI (registry 131):

PAGE 1:
http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... 6.jpg.html

PAGE 2:
http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... ewsIndex=0

The main information I am looking for is what is written about his mother, but any other information is also appreciated. The document is in two pages.

Thank you very much.

It says that the father was Sebastiano Vincenzo Lucchi, 30 years old, ebanist (or carpenter), and mother was "an unmarried woman, not related to the declarant in a way that might prevent a recognization of the child)".
That means that the parents were not married (though they might have been at church). But may be they married later. You should look for a marriage in the following years, or for Sebastiano's death record.
