Before the official appeared Giovanni Corrao, 34 yo, bracciale (day labourer), living and residing in Marineo, the son of the deceased Salvatore Corrao. He presented a baby girl who he reported was born on 7 January 1869, at 10 am, from his wife Giuseppa Pocarino, the daughter of Antonio Pocarino. Giuseppa was 23 yo, living with Giovanni in the house they inhabited, situated in this town of Marineo. Their baby daughter was given the name Mattia.
Besides the official’s name, the other names there are just the witnesses to the presentation of the infant and the registration of the infant’s birth.
