Hello Everyone,
I am on FamilySearch looking for records from Sessa Aurunca (in province of Caserta) from 1866-1884. After finding the "correct" page to view the records, I found that although the record collection title matched what I was searching for, the contents of the collection belonged to the city of Caserta (in province of Caserta). Does anyone know where I can find the correct records for Sessa Aurunca? I'll will post the link below that I was using: https://www.familysearch.org/records/im ... ce=7066217 Any help or direction is welcome! - Danile
Records Indexed Incorrectly?
Re: Records Indexed Incorrectly?
If you look here:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/cat ... %20Library
there seem to be no records online for Sessa Aurunca after 1865. The only available ones are on film.

Re: Records Indexed Incorrectly?
Yes, the collections you find in the 'Immagini' of Family Search not always are indexed correctly.
For Sessa Aurunca records until 1865 are on Antenati, for about 1824-1829 on Family Search.
Those that you found on Images as I said may be other comuni mixted together with Sessa Aurunca.
You must look all the registers carefully, probably there are some also of Sessa Aurunca as said in the title.
Perhaps it is possible to write to Family Search, asking to correct the mistakes.
