Marriage Record for Michele Aulicino

Post by timfly »

Hello, I am looking to see what this record says, also I am not totally clear on what the bride's maiden name is. In the index it appears to be Papariello.

Much Appreciated!

Tim, the respective couples in each record that you have posted here don't match. They are different people. I've translated the birth record for you as I think that is possibly the one that you are interested in. The script isn't the best so hopefully I have interpreted correctly, otherwise I'm sure one of the other translators will check and edit.

Registered Tramutola 29 October 1815
Child born 26 October 1815, 5 pm
Mother: Rosa Passarelli, daughter of Genuario, from Marsico, 30 yo, filatrice (spinner/seemstress),living in Capalaggia, wife of Michele Aulicino, of this town.
Father: Michele Aulicino, 50 yo, bracciale (day labourer) living in Contrada Capalaggia

The child was given the name Donato Antonio Aulicino and was baptised on 29 October 1815.

Contrada Capalaggia would have been a small village of Tramutola. The writing is quite tricky so I am not sure I have the spelling correct.
