I wanted to thank everyone for their help and assistance in tracking down the information that I was looking for.

My research has taken a massive leap forward ... I've been moving so fast it's been difficult keeping track of everything (getting it entered into the software takes TIME).

I'm going on vacation (Alaskan Cruise with my family - 13 of us) starting today, but will definitely be back and learning more from you folks within a week or so.

Also, I'd like to offer my skills to anyone that needs help ... web-site design, programming, database management ... it's not genealogy, but these areas are often related. Along the same lines, I have begun to write the stories of the people that I am researching and including this information on my site and I'll keep you updated as they get added.

Back from the vacation and it was incredible. I'll have some pages together by the end of the week (I took over 700 photos and it might take a few minutes to go through them all).

Welcome back!!!! It's been a great week.....we just got a new addition to the family, a granddaughter....

Can't wait to see some pictures of the cruise.........was thinking I need a break....might head down to Longboat Key and see the family.....nothing better than watching the sunset over the ocean.....tranquility at it's best!!

Got the photographs from Alaska stripped down to 9-20 per day (8 days) and cut the sizes from 2816x2112 to 563x422 ...

That was a tremendous amount of work. Now, to create the HTML to view the images appropriately ... maybe sometime tonight or tomorrow!
