Hello - Attached are 2 birth certificates. I always thought the female/mother name went after "e nata da" but then I see that on one of these it appears the fathers name is. Can someone tell me if these places on the birth record/form are interchangeable between the mother's name and father's name? Thank you!

It's a pre-printed form, in this case, where I read "domiciliata" first, and then "domiciliato".
So, father's name should always follow mother's.
I can't enlarge the image enough, but it seems that, in the second example, both words were hand corrected to become "domiciliato", and "domiciliata". That might have been because the clerk uncorrectly wrote father's name before, and preferred such correction, rather then erasing father's name
