Translation and Apostille in United Kingdom

Post by mike.bollinger »

Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you to everyone who has posted information in this forum previously. It has been very helpful to learn from people who have gone before us.

I am working with my close friend to apply for DIY Citizenship by Descent through his Great Grandfather.

We have identified 9 UK Certificates and a proof of no UK Nationalization:

GGFather Marriage and Death
GMother Birth, Marriage and Death
Mother Birth, Marriage and Death
Appliants Birth
Proof of Uk Nationalization

We are From what I have read, each of these documents will need to be translated by an approved translator, also legalised. Can anyone who has done this from the UK recommend the most cost effective way to do this and recommend a service that does this? Anyone who is able to do both translation and apostille?

Thanks everyone for your help in advance.

Mike
