Church Baptismal Record Help

Post by sams »

I can really use some help on this one.

Not much I can determine but I believe this is the baptismal record for Gaspare Paschalis Sciabbica. Parents are Antonino and Rosa Sciabbica. The baptism date is October 2, 1716.

Can the experts take a look and offer a better translation / interpretation?

I am reading the same. The Latin "Paschalis" translates to Pasquale so the name imposed was Gaspare Pasquale Sciabbica. The godparents are possibly mentioned and I can't quite catch the names. Do you have a link to the online record. We usually prefer to view those when available.

The baby was born "yesterday", and godparents were Nunzio and Dorotea Parisi, siblings.
